Meneer Frans
Meneer Frans is located in a monumental building in the heart of Haarlem; a breakfast and lunch room with a cozy interior and a large terrace in summer. You can go there for sandwiches, flamkuchen and cakes, but also for high teas, both vegan and gluten-free. On June 18, 2018, after years of designing, applying for a permit, renovating, crowdfunding and changing partners, DeDAKKAS finally opened its doors. The idea started in January 2014, when one of the owners of DeDAKKAS thought of turning an 'ugly, concrete colossus' garage into a beautiful restaurant.
