Feel Good
Feel Good is a vegetarian restaurant that uses only natural ingredients in its dishes. However, most of the dishes on the menu are vegan. You can enjoy breakfast, brunch and lunch here, but also drop by for a high tea. Feel Good also serves dinner in a fun way: on Wednesdays from 17-19h you can come along for 'Eten Wat De Pot Schaft'. This is a Dutch proverb that basically means that you will eat whatever is on the menu that day, so you don't have an option. The menu is announced on their Facebook page at 16:00. If you like the dish, you can immediately make reservations for that evening. For 8.50 you can enjoy a surprising dinner. + More info

De Uurwerker
De Uurwerker is a meeting place for young and old. In the summer you can sit at one of the picnic tables on the huge terrace, but there is always room inside as well. The atmosphere is hip and industrial, with big couches, soft sits, or "just" chairs and stools. There is an open kitchen, which makes the atmosphere casual and open. The menu is very diverse: you can stop by for a piece of cake and a cup of coffee, for a drink and a snack, as well as sandwiches, salads or pizzas. Unfortunately, there is no vegan pizza on the menu, but there are some good veggie options. On weekends, you can also enjoy a DJ. + More info

Blue Bananas
Did someone say .. pancakes? Yes! At Blue Bananas you eat fluffy pancakes, and then in very large portions. Originally the batter is vegetarian and not vegan, but for a small surcharge they can also serve you a portion of vegan pancakes, with bananas, strawberry, coconut, walnuts and blueberries. Or the simpler version, with butter and maple syrup. There are more options for vegetarians. In Mr. Smith's loft, you'll find street food from all over the world. You have exotic cocktails, Mexican enchiladas, Italian burrata and much more. Basically, you can share the dishes, but of course you can also choose to eat one (or more) on your own. Mr. Smith's loft is located in a monumental corner building. It has large windows overlooking the canals, and you can sit on a lounge chair, at the open kitchen, against the wall with plants or in a rocking chair.
