Description

In a historic building in the heart of Maastricht, the bakers at De Bisschopsmolen work on local delicacies. They not only bake fresh bread, but also Limburg flans, including vegan flans. De Bisschopsmolen has been around since 2005, but founder Frank has been working in bakeries since 1984. So experience is definitely there. At the Bisschopsmolen you can also opt for the concept 'Bread on the Shelf'; as a guest you can then choose your own lunch by choosing different snacks and breads. So it's a kind of drinks board, but with bread and toppings instead of fried food.

Amazing vegan vlaai. Come early if you want to get it by the slice (otherwise you have to buy a whole pie).

So many vegan flavours (eg apricot, cherry, apple)

If you come later they usually run out of vegan slices and you have to buy a whole pie.

Meal: Apricot vlaai (vegan)
