Description
Mana Mana is a Middle Eastern restaurant with two locations in Amsterdam. Both locations have a nice terrace where you can sit outside when the weather is good. Middle Eastern cuisine is most of the time very suitable for vegans and vegetarians. This certainly applies to Mana Mana, the menu mainly consists of vegan and vegetarian dishes and a few Carnistic dishes. The menu indicates whether the dishes are vegan, vegetarian or carnivorous. This way you easily make the choice that suits you best.
Mana Mana has a selection of vegan and veggie plates that are great for sharing. They also have some nice non-alcoholic drinks. I do find the Pijp venue a little cramped, and it would be nice if they could give you free bread with the dishes (since their bread portions are quite small).
Psychedelic cauliflower, baba ganoush, hummus, drinks
The sweet potato carpaccio wasn't my fave and I wish they had more complimentary bread
Mana mana has really delicious Middle Eastern food. My favorite was the pita with cauliflower, really delicious. The falafel was also very good. My friend really liked the Shakshuka. I don't think the food is very cheap, especially because the portions are small, but most of them are filling, for example with a large amount of tahini or hummus.
Tasty food, cozy atmosphere
A bit slow service
