When Margo and her husband decided to go vegan, they missed one thing: Croissants! After a lot of practice, they made the perfect croissant from tasty plant-based butter. They want to share this with everyone. In addition to croissants, Margo's also sells all kinds of delicious American style cookies and sandwiches and coffee. Everything is plant-based. Margo's is a bakery where you can pick up delicacies. They have no seats inside.

Margo's is a lovely organic vegan bakery in the Jordaan. Their terracotta interior is warm and welcoming, with a delicious smell of freshly baked goods and coffee. Margo's is owned by Aidan and Margo, who felt there weren't enough options for vegan pastries in Amsterdam. It's hard to pick what to try, but I ended up taking the chocolate hazelnut danish, tahini bun, chocolate chip cookie and crispy tofu sandwich. Everything was so tasty and I really enjoyed the different textures and flavours they achieved with each pastry. The sandwich was also one of the best vegan sandwiches I've had in Amsterdam - really savoury and satisfying. Overall, it was a great experience and I also enjoyed speaking with Aidan and Margo about their journey and why they decided to open up their shop. I'll definitely be back for more bites soon!

Helemaal verliefd op de vegan kaascroissant! Er waren er nog 2, mijn vriend en ik namen er één om te delen en liepen later nog terug om de laatste ook mee te nemen. Ook lekkere belegde broodjes! We namen er één met seitan en hoisin saus en een vegan cheese & steak. En mijn vriend zegt dat de koffie ook top was.

Visited Margo's to get some of their vegan croissants but unfortunately they were already sold out when we got there. We ended up getting one of their sandwiches instead. Hoping to go back soon - and early this time to get some of their pastries!
Voor een vegan croissant: look no further. Ze zijn knapperig en simpelweg fantastisch. Beter krijg je het niet.

WAUW! OMG! AMAZING! Margo's maakt alles waar wat ze zeggen, deze croissants zijn zo ongelofelijk lekker. Vegan croissants maken is echt niet makkelijk, want ik heb er al een aantal geprobeerd en vaak viel het tegen. Maar deze croissants zijn ECHT goed! Ik nam er één met kaas, jammie!
